in 2010 I turned 40 & found myself to be totally out of shape, with my weight at that stage measuring 265 pounds. Before that I must say that I was always somewhat overweight, even as a teenager. I did however manage to reduce my weight during my national service term but hey, who doesn’t. Its not like you have a choice in the matter 🙂
During this national service term, at 20 years of age I managed to reduce my weight from 220 to 185 pounds but it only lasted for the duration of my service term, say about 2 years. Thereafter, I gradually started gaining weight and after I got married it just became worse considering the good life. So clearly a lifetime battle with my weight.
I noticed that it wasn’t just my weight that was a problem but as I got older (say after 30) I started experiencing a total lack of energy continuously feeling fatigued, developed various health problems such as cholesterol, type 2 diabetes & general joint pain. This impacted on my life in so many areas, leaving me with a poor quality of life & I had to do something!
In 2010, I decided to get this handled once and for all and embarked on a journey that changed my life. I am currently 48 years of age with a clean bill of health and my weight remains around 205 pounds. The system that I am using is so basic that anyone can use it successfully.
